onPause.org reports that Playstation Network Users are receiving Closed Beta invites for the Dead Space 2 Multiplayer. Dead Space 2 does not launch until January 25th.

Dead Space 2 is not due to release until early 2011 but EA is already gearing up for the recently revealed multiplayer by sending out Closed Beta Invites to select Playstation Network users.

On September 26, from 8:00 PM PST to 10:00 PM PST the development team will join the multiplayer fun according to emails sent out to users this evening.

Dead Space 2 is set to release on January 25th for Xbox 360 and PS3.
