Nintendo Predicts 3DS Will Sell Four Million Units In First Month

Nintendo is getting pretty cocky with their new 3DS launch coming next year with plenty of prelaunch hype. In fact, Nintendo is boasting that they will sell 4 million 3DS' in the first month!

Earlier we reported that the Nintendo 3DS has it’s launch date set at February 26, 2011 in Japan, while the portable console won’t be in U.S. and Europe’s hands until March. Along with that news, Nintendo has given the company’s predictions of what to expect from the 3DS in its first month on store shelves.

    It's possible. If the 3DS lives up to its hype then it will sell really well.

    Yeah, there's a very high possibility of this becoming the truth. Hell, plenty of people will buy it simply because they want the latest DS.

    I will probably buy it, but I'm not certain yet. If I get to see the 3D effect first hand I'll probably make up my mind. Too bad it doesn't show in trailers and stuff.
