2k Games' The Darkness, recently only a Xbox 360 title have finally released a demo on the PSN Store for the Playstation 3 of this title. It is said to offer a short demo of the game play but taking up 1.44GB of you memory space.

2K Games has released a playable demo of The Darkness which PS3 gamers can download now from the PSN store.

UK gamers have been enjoying The Darkness on Xbox 360 for several weeks now, but PlayStation 3 gamers have only been able to get their hands on the supernatural FPS from today.

If you're wavering on whether or not to make a purchase then today's The Darkness demo might help. It's 1.44GB and presumably offers a short section of gameplay designed to convince people to buy the full game.

Alternatively you could check out our review of the Xbox 360 version - largely the same as the PS3 game - and be convinced that The Darkness is well worth your money.

Those that haven't downloaded it yet, the demo includes 3 levels so justifies its sheer size.

I was going to post this yesterday, but couldn't find a source. I'm just about to play this, anyhow.

I don't remember Xbox getting a demo for this game, never saw it on the Marketplace, at least. I'd still rather get it for the 360, though, achievement-addicted

I ran up to my PS3 to download this, but couldn't find it. Is it in the demo section with the rest?
