The rumours about Mario Kart Wii making an appearance at E3 (complete with Wii Wheel) were true, but about it being released before the end of 2007? Nup. Nintendo has told CVG that it has enough big titles lined up for Christmas and wants to hold something back for 2008

“For the holidays we have a huge line-up of Wii games already, including Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Pokémon Battle Revolution. Fans will not be hurting for great games to play,” said Nintendo, who wants to delay one of its biggest franchises for an onslaught in 2008.

It better be coming out in 2008. I don't want some game that they rushed to put out just to appease fans, when they could have put more features in it had they waited later.

That's why I'm OK with waiting 5 months for Brawl.

Good move! That's my concern, too many great titles of Nintendo coming out this holiday season, as mentioned in other articles. Brawl and Metroid Prime 3 are enough to keep me busy, as well as Galaxy. Spring/Summer '08 sounds good.

    Wait... Brawl's this year?

NVM Nintendo, keep MKW for a while.

I've been playing Mario Kart 64 lately and it reminded me how fun this series is. I have no problem waiting, especially with Galaxy and Brawl on the horizon.

I read about the release of this on ONM a few days ago, along with some stunning pictures also. I expected a little nicer pictures, and detail -- although, I can't really judge from 3 pictures.
