Do the Mario! Swing your arms from side to side! In honor of Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Nintendo has created a 25th Anniversary red Wii. It looks great!

Today Nintendo has announced a special edition Red Wii console that will launch in Japan on November 11, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros. The red Wii will be bundled with a red version of the the new Wii Remote Plus and a red Nunchuck controller.

    Seems pretty conservative honestly. A completely red console isn't a very efficient commemoration for such a big anniversary, nor does it inspire anyone to buy it. At least put the typical giant white 'M' on the side or something...

    Also, weren't they supposed to have like 10 different colors upon release, including red? What the hell happened to that? I bet they manufactured a few thousand red ones, then decided against it, and now here they are again, selling the same exact consoles four years later haha.

      That was back when it was still called Revolution =/

      PS3 came in Black, Silver and White back in the day before release. These colored consoles NEVER get released. Shame to since I really liked the green revolution.
