Starcraft II has been plaqued by hackers. Earlier this month, Blizzard banned 5000 cheaters in a highly publicized move. Now they are going after the hackers.

Blizzard started the month of October by banning 5000 cheaters in Starcraft II. Out to show they mean business, the developer is now going after the hackers who created the cheats and taking them to court.

    [size=1]I love to see developers standing their ground in such a matter, so long as it's fair and necessary, mind you.

    It amazes me how lax Nintendo is regarding hackers...

      Would you support Blizzard if you knew they were banning people from using cheats for singleplayer as well?

      Pretty sure I heard that. Which seems to cross the line to me.

        Blizz isn't banning people for using cheats in the single-player campaign. If that were the case, why would they include them?

          I still feel that there should not be a need to cheat. There is no glory in winning when you are not playing with fair odds.
