Namco Bandai Games announced information that the long awaited Gundam will be releasing a Single Player Demo onto the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Markerplace, and will of course cost nothing to purchase.

The full retail version of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles on August 28, 2007.
Yesterday, Namco Bandai Games and Koei announced that a free single player demo of ‘Dynasty Warrior: Gundam’ will soon be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 console. This demo will also be available for the PS3 console over the PLAYSTATION Network.

According to Makoto Iwai, Executive Vice President and COO, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc, “We wanted to ensure that every Xbox 360 owner has the opportunity to enjoy the perfect melding of the Dynasty Warriors signature game play and GUNDAM’s Mobile Suits before its anticipated debut.”

O man the gundamn game they had in Japan, you actually got in a pod and have controls such as in an actual gundam. While outside is a tv where other players can view the players killing each other in the game.

Was it just me, or was this demo more boring than previous DW games? It was basically just hit square until you get a musuo attack, than hold circle and repeat. You didn't feel obligated to do combos like in the regular DW games.

I liked the demo, but I dont think the game will be worth the price until I can get it used, unless they make some changes Iam not paying 60 for it, Id rather get something better, but I do want it eventually since Iam such a big fan of the gundam series.
