Microsoft has been the first company to sign up to the Interactive Software Federation which is a group aimed at offering age rating labels which will helps ensure parents know that their children aren't downloading adult software whilst on there systems.
PEGI now hope that Sony and Nintendo follow in the steps as they hope can establish themselves within the gaming world a bit more.
Xbox 360 signs up to PEGI online ahead of Sony and Nintendo
Microsoft has become the first platform holder to endorse the new online age labelling system from the Interactive Software Federation (ISFE), PEGI Online.
The site will work in conjunction with the current Pan European Game Information (PEGI) system by offering age-rating labels and descriptions of content and helping parents ensure their children arent downloading adult software.

Man this makes me so p-offed. Man, adults these days.
anyways, this is somewhat good, but honestly, nobody's getting the picture that violent games aren't usually the cause of violent behaviour.
I just hope it doesn't mean M rated games are gone though
