Confirmed - New Firmware Update Hits Next Week

The new firmware update is on the way according to Patrick Seybold, The Senior PR Manager for Sony, whether this update will include the ability to play your own music in games is yet to be seen. There is also a list of rumoured updates that could be made

Still wondering when the next “BIG” firmware update will drop ? Well then wonder no more, Patrick Seybold, The Senior PR Manager for Sony has confirmed in a post that, there is in fact something special planned for the PS3 firmware update next week.

He was asked when we should be expecting the new firmware update to hit the playstation store, and he replied:

Early next week, we’ll have something on the firmware
