People love to trash talk when playing against others online, but one Warcraft III player in Vancouver learned his lesson when he smack-talked other players online.

Apparently Eric was talking some serious smack during an online game, and these guys just didn't agree with that. They managed to track Eric to his school, and that's when they jumped him. Seriously, that's what all of this is about. They were all playing Defence of the Ancients, a custom online scenario for Warcraft III, when Eric Hamber pwned all of them. I guess he reveled a little too much in his victory, rubbing the losers' nose in it, and they decided to take action.

On one hand, way to go WAY overboard over an online game doods...

On the other hand, if he was a real prick about it, I don`t feel bad about him getting the snot beaten out of him either. Internet anonymity (or at least, the illusion of it, as this kid demonstrates XD) is no reason to become a giant douchebag. A little smack talk, some complaining, etc, is understandable, but going to far just makes you a douchebag.

Basically, if you`re going to say crap that'll get your ass kicked IRL....DON'T SAY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE...

    LOL@ Third comment down:

If this kid is anything like 97% of the Halo community, I have no sympathy for him. Being anonymous on the internet makes people think they can say anything to anybody.

A friend of mine gets pissed off from time to time when playing games with random jackasses who talk shit and shout racial slurs. Every once in a while he just kind of snaps, gives the people his address and offers to buy them a plane ticket here so he can personally kick their ass. Once they see the kind of crazy they're dealing with, those idiots suddenly become quiet. Funny every time, I tells ya.

I would agree if it was one on one and less of a brutal attack but 4-5 people against one is worse than any amount online trash talking.Like I said in my comment, punch the little shit out and leave it that and I wouldn't care but what they did is just pathetic.

True, a 1 on 1 would be understandable~ish (if still an overreaction, like I said), but ganging up on someone is never cool.

What a stupid way to see it. It's not okay to beat up a person in a group but A-okay to beat them up alone? So if you gave him a sword it would be perfectly acceptable to kill him with an axe, so long as your mates don't join in?

End of the day they were looking to teach a little shit a lesson, not have an honourable fight to restore pride in their manhood or whatever naive shit you're thinking.

Come on that's taking it to far.I could see myself punching out some online trash talking prick but beating them up this brutally and humiliating them is to much.Especially when it's 4-5 guys against one.

The 4-5 guys on the other hand deserve 4-5 times what they did to the other kid.Anyone who attacks someone 2+ against one deserves anything they get.

I know who the kid is, but don't know anything about him. This is an embarrassment to an already terrible school.
