a) How many rumors get started in random Spanish magazines, and then turn out to be complete bull? That's right, there's a lot of them.
b) Why in the world would Sakurai let something that big slip to a measly magazine such as that? Sonic being in Brawl is an even bigger announcement than Snakes appearance, so there is no chance that Sakurai and Nintendo would drop this news in anything but an official trailer in the upcoming Smash event, or as an update of the Smash Dojo website. Either this is fake, or Sakurai has the biggest, dumbest mouth in the video game industry, which I doubt.
c) You can't just use other people's property in games. Sakurai has to have SEGA's permission before he can put anything Sonic related in Brawl. If this is true, Sakurai just admitted to copyright violation, and is going to get sued by SEGA.
Whether or not Sonic will be in the game, this magazine article is fake.
Everybody wants Sonic in Brawl this bad. I personally would appreciate him in Brawl, but noooo. Has to be Snake. -_- Sad.
Agreed with above, if a rumor is sent out, it shouldn't be from some amateur SPanish magazine. Try CoroCoro, at least. A trailer would also be obvious.
btw sonic is incredibly lame. Every game that touches sonic turns out to be a complete waste of time. I think the standards for the smash bros series are a little higher than that.
