Canadians to Get a New DS Lite Color?

Unofficially announced but possibly leaked, the Canadian retailer Future Shop listed a brand new bundle pack which includes Brain Age 2 and a Carrying Case. The big deal about this is that there's also an image of a new Crimson Black Nintendo DS Lite. No one is exactly sure whether this would be a Canadian exclusive or the store who put the image up just did some photoshopping. No official word from Nintendo concerning this as of now.

Though unofficially announced by Nintendo, the Canadian retail outlet Future Shop has listed a DS and Brain Age 2 bundle that will apparently include a rather nice looking Crimson and Black color scheme DS Lite. The pack also includes a carrying case. Release date is listed as August 20th, which is the same day Brain Age 2 ships.

As usual with retail-leaks, we can't be sure whether this was a photoshop snafu or an early look at a new DS. If it is in fact a real item, we'll have to wait for official word from Nintendo as to whether this is a Canadian exclusive or something we'll be getting stateside. Stay tuned for more info as it breaks.

  Not entirely true. Europe, Uk usually gets the last of things. That's a nice color, alright, but red isn't my color I'd go for the black/white one.

I really like Nintendo and I myself have a Black DS Lite so I hope nobody see's this as a fanboy attack or anything, but that is disgusting. I know it's unofficial and all, I hope it has been Photoshopped.

Hm, interesting, but why just Canada? If they were gonna release a new colour in Canada I think they would release a new colour also in the US and UK, possibly the ROTW.

in japan i was gonna get the exclusize japan only blue, but it was around $168 :/, but in the end I like my onyx DS Lite

This was a dupe article? Dangit, I submitted this last night and when I did there were no possible duplicate articles shown.

To stay on topic, I think the color looks pretty slick and it's cool how they decided to mix and match colors. If it comes out in Canada I think it would come out in the USA as most things come out in North America as a whole. I still have my dull gray DS from launch.

I personally like the color of that DS. And if it comes out when it says it does in Canada. I might get it since I'm been interested with getting a DS Lite after owning my blue big DS for so long.

That is a quite sharp lookin'z DS.

But, I think though were to see 2-3 more colors for the DS lite by the time the Holidays come around. This one maybe one of them. I do want to see a green version of a DS and a blue =D.

That DS lite looks beutiful... I personally prefer the black though. Fancy stuff like that and the White ones are a pain to keep clean. XD
