Mysteriously, 20GB Playstation 3's appeared at Gamestop, selling for $499.99 USD. It's weird because the 20GB PS3 was allegedly cancelled for a North America release.

The 20 gig PS3 appears to be on sale at Gamestop for 450 USD. The page doesn't say anything about why this is here after the 20 gig was canceled for North America.

Well, another lie by Sony. 20g sounds a little more reasonable though.

So it's $50 less than the current 60 GB price? Who would buy that at this point xD

Meh, too true. If you can't afford 60g, just get a loan. I haven't thought about comparing prices...

Not worth it if you ask me. $400 seems more reasonable at this point.

Yeah, maybe they had some more in stock still? I doubt sony would take it out and then bring it back only to lower the price by 50$... It's kinda dumb.

Seems like EB had some left over, and dropped the price to get them off the shelves once and for all.

It's not Sony's fault I guess. Shipments go late...and with teh speed of things changing...things arrive as soon as new plans pop up. There are things called the ACTUAL shops that could also be the problem.

So now they're forced to sell it for even less lol?

I wonder what gamestop paid for it.

320$ would be reasonable for a just 20 gig PS3.
    Hey Mike.

I would buy it for 450$ All PS3s are the same to me. It's better than the other one that will have no backward compatability.
As for the harddrive, I can replace it with a bigger one in due time. But as for now, that seems to be the cheapest PS3 available on the market!
