After a crash sent the Miszkowiec family off of the road in Melbourne, Australia, one child used his DS as a flashlight to save his family from the wreckage.

Back in July, during the late night, the Miszkowiec family was heading to their home in Melbourne when they hit a kangaroo. (That's right, it doesn't get much more stereotypical than that!) The crash ended up sending the vehicle off the side of the road, rolling it at least four times. Christopher, who was seven at the time, managed to keep his wits about him and unbuckled himself and his younger brother so they could exit the tipped-over car.

Clever kid! I wouldn't be able to do that as I don't have a DS...

Wow, that's awesome. Mostly though, just in the fact that he was calm enough and not panicking so much that he couldn't do anything. I'm sure he was still a bit scared and all, but at least he wasn't petrified or anything!

It's an interesting story, but I think to say that he saved his family at all, especially with a DS, is a bit of a stretch. Cool kid anyway.

Aw that's just regular media hype, that's all The media can take something as interesting as watching grass grow-in real time-and create a title and many times article to go along with it, that would make anyone interested in learning more!
