The games aside, I have to add that this is a fantastic way for companies to leverage the strengths of online distribution. Given how easy wrappers are to hack, time-limited access to full versions of games would be impossible for physical distribution. Instead, this is sort of like showing off your game at a convention, but with a minimum of travel time and setup.
