New releases for week ending July 27 (US and Europe)

mistermostyn | July 22, 2007 | News | PC Playstation 2
The post-E3 depression is setting in as yet another new release listing fails to inspire anything more than a heavy yawn. Then again, is that surprising following a week of fevered expectancy with one huge game after the other dangled tantalisingly before us? No, not really. Still, this week's release listing is still pretty darn poor.
On both sides of the Atlantic it’s left to the ever-willing PlayStation 2 and ever-giving Nintendo DS to flesh out the weekly release offerings. On the PS2 front, the week’s biggest entrant is Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks The 80s, followed by the likes of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 and Rugby 08.

Guitar Hero looks okay but I doubt that I'll end up buying it - its basically exactly the same game, just with new songs - not worth the money in my opinion ^^

I would be looking forward to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, but I got impatient, so I've already had it for a couple weeks now ...((loads of game shops wee I live already have it in stock anyways ))

I've never been into Guitar Hero. Ever since my friend brought it round once, I enjoyed one song and as for the gameplay, it just wasn't my thing. Although, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are what I'm most looking forward to!
