Some technical issues have crept into Mafia II after the release of the latest DMC, Joe's Adventures. It's do with a patch released for the game in preparation for hte DLC.

Gamers all over the world report that today's launch of the new DLC add-on to the game, Joe's Adventures, prompted a mandatory 3MB game patch for all users regardless of whether they own the DLC or not. Once the patch is downloaded and installed, users report that their console cannot connect to the Live Service with Mafia II loaded, and that their connection to Live is shut down as soon as they load the game when they start Mafia II already logged in to Live.
