Xbox Live having some issues

If you have tried to download content from Xbox Live recently, you may notice there are some problems and it won't let you download. Multiplayer and friends list seem to work fine, however. Could be just a minor issue, but is this another problem that Microsoft has to pocket?

So if you've tried to download anything recently through your 360, you've already discovered that something is amiss in the world of Xbox Live. Several people have reported getting the error message "Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live. Please try again later. Status code: 807b01f7" when trying to download content. The problem seems to be specific to the Marketplace though, multiplayer and friends lists seem to still be working fine.

Probably just some server hiccups, but we'll keep an eye on it and let you know when the situation improves. If you experience any other issues, comment about them here.

    ... is this actual news? I mean, Live was down for four hours max this morning while Microsoft did some tweaking to the marketplace. Can people seriously not go from 4:00AM EST to 9:00AM EST without Xbox Live?

    Haha I just downloaded Bomberman Live and am downloading an ass load of videos. Zero problems. Maintenance stuff has to happen some time you know.

      Lucky it was fixed. That'd be funny and sad if it was a big problem. Then Microsoft would be *bleep*ed again.

    It's called maintenance. It was down for a few hours to improve the service.

    It is worth the money.

    Hi I'm finalblade98, you may recognize me from such shows as "Common Sense: I hardly knew ye" and "I'm not a fanboy, I just really, really, really, really, really like Sony and hate Microsoft."

    This reminds me of when the servers go down on neo and when they're back up half the members assume the place was hacked. Heck at least Microsoft did it when most people were asleep. With sucha reaction you'd think they did it at 6pm on the day Halo 3 was released.

    Its a market place. How many things could you do in 4 hours? sleep probably. it was just too early for majority of the gamers.
