In Milwaukee, two young kids used a sledgehammer to break into Target. They then went directly to the Electronics Department and then to the video game section. After several tries, one of the kids manages to get into the case and leave with just one game and nothing else. Police assume the kids to be 11 years old.

In Milwaukee, two young thieves were caught on tape smashing the glass video games case in the electronics department at Target.
Target surveillance cameras reportedly caught the two boys breaking into the store with a sledgehammer. Police think the boys are as young as 11-years-old.

The video, from local TMJ4, shows the boys going right for the electronics department and to the video games. After several tries, one boy finally manages to break the glass video games case with the sledgehammer. They take only one video game and leave. Police say the boys didn’t take anything else.

Depends on what game they stole. If it was some 20 dollar PS2 greatest hits game released 6 years ago then lock those kids up.

No no, but in all seriousness that's crazy. There's a video at the source and it's funny how all serious they look when they do the deed.

Wow that's crazy. I don't care how new or old the game is. Lock those kids away.

wow, they didn't find them yet! Probably hard to find if they're not interacting with society any more. They're probably locked up in a basement somewhere beating that ONE game they stole.. realizing they should have gotten one with higher re-play value...
Video says they walked around the store too... Eye Shopping??? Without stealing anything else, just walk around target before leaving... Must be a very strong habit they couldn't shake.

At least they didn't rob the place in cosplay

    Yeah that's funny...

Kid 1: "Hey dude we beat the game!"
    Two hours later...
Kid 2: "This game's like, a total bummer. It has no freaking replay value.
Kid 1: "But we can't crawl out of the basement. We'll get caught for sure..."
    Kid 2: "...crap."

They're gonna have to come out, they're going to be so bored.

Haha, thats stupid. Why would you take 1? Why not one of every game?

Either they were so determined to play that game they had to be idiots and do that or i don't know what is going on .

    Pure stupidity is going on...

    That's pretty crazy.

I mean, i'd have just swapped the sledgehammer for a game.

    Idiots anyway.

What intelligent individuals. "Hey lets take the chance of being convicted of a crime instead of just asking our parents to buy it".

I was never able to get my parents to pay for a 50$ (now 60$) game on a whim when I was growing up. Not everyone can just ask their parents to buy them everything.

I definitely wouldn't try to rob Target, though.. maybe a small privately owned store.

Yes the reason why ps3 didn't do that well during the holiday and why the wii is doing great.

Im surprised the kids didn't rob a videogame store rather than a store that doesn't have alot of games.

Probably some shit like a Playboy game. Wow. I'm amazed how badass these kids think they are. I would have taken all of the games I could carry, but they just took 1. Dumbasses.

What kind of parents/guardians do these kids have? How did they get access to a sledgehammer? Man, the things kids do these days are just...stupid. Sledgehammer...reminds me of Triple H, heh.

I think their parents should find that sledgehammer and knock some sense into their kids.

      Final Blade Jul 26, 07
That would be murder actually. And yes how did they get access to it, but i have access to a sledgehammer as well but im not going to rob a store like target or any for that matter.

Revenger of Wastelan Jul 26, 07
And they also cant be caught, the guy on the pic has his hood on his head, no way someone would recognize him.

    Final Blade Jul 26, 07
Also it would be pretty stupid for them to wear the same clothes that they wore when they broke in.

    YeOldeBowser Jul 26, 07
But there's still no way he could get caught, since the video doesn't show too much of him.

Theory of Chaos Jul 26, 07
You smuggle in a sledgehammer and all you steal is one game? At least rob a dude before you leave. Shit.

    tidus04 Jul 27, 07
Looks like if they did get caught they just didnt want to be charged with all that much, maybe that is why they wanted just one game .

It better be a good DS brand game... SM64DS being worst. It's a good game, but the bottom of the worth it list.

I'm figuring that unless windows cost a lot (I don't know how much they cost) they might actually be settled for a misdemeanor. So, agreed, Tidus.

Hope they suffer brain seizures, though. Ya never know what karma can do.
