Top 10 Theoretical Videogame Crossovers

Li C. Kuo of GameSpy has come up with a list of the top ten videogame crossovers. 10 through 6 are shown below and you will have to go to the source to find out the surprising number one.

10. Virtua Fighter vs. Tekken
9. Tomb Raider of Persia
8. X-Wing vs. Wing Commander
7. MechWarrior vs. Armored Core
6. Unreal Quake Tournament

Now, 16 years later, my Sega Genesis is gone, my high school crush is married to her high school sweetheart (who, notably, is not me), and Sonic and Mario are appearing together in game called Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Seeing this epic crossover finally occur got me thinking, what other wacky mix-ups would I like to see in gaming? So, like any dedicated gamer with a bi-weekly column to put up, I decided to make a list of what I personally think would make for some cool match-ups, regardless of how improbable or unfeasible they might be.

Below I present to you a list of the top 10 video game crossovers I'd like to see in my lifetime.

the first few don't really go together. devil of war might work out, but I doubt it.

MGS and splinter cell? are you kidding me?

MGS is STEATH ACTION GAME

SC is stealth boring game.

Snake would butt rape sam fisher anyday, and most people would agree. At least the ones who actually played MGS.

Sam prevents wars while Snake fights them, awesome team.

Naughty Dog's Uncharted makes a better Crossover to Tomb Raider, aptly named "Dude Raider".

A few good ones there.

I thought that Number 1 would definately work.

Halo and Half Life stood out too.

I'd be most interested in Virtua Fighter and Tekken though, would make an ace game.

Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia seem good, even though I've never played Tomb Raider, I've seen a few videos.

Tekken vs Virtua Fighter would be a damn good game. Different fighting styles yet similar gameplay. That and Prince of Persia/Tomb Raider would be great. Metal Gear: Splinter Cell...seems like a good crossover, but I wouldn't put it as my #1.

Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter sounds really nice, Shun vs Wang, Pai vs Xiaoyu, Wolf vs King, Akira vs Jin etc etc...
