It looks like Mortal Kombat is about to get a boost from the God of War. An article in the January issue of Official PlayStation Magazine indicates that Kratos will join the cast's roster, exclusively on PS3.

Finally! An awesome guy to play as on Mortal Combat! I may actually buy this one.

      Yeah dude, that's "Kombat" with a K.

But Kratos in MK could be interesting. Imagine the fatalities!

Pretty cool, wonder who the 360 exclusive will be, if any.

Marcus Fenix or a Spartan for 360, calling it.

      I would really prefer Marcus.

I say that mostly because Master Chief was already in DoA if I'm not mistaken.

Plus Marcus would just be pretty awesome in this game, in my opinion.

Master Chief wasn't in DoA. There was a spartan in it though. Not Master chief though (not that anyone can tell the difference).

Awesome. He'll fit right in with all the other bloodthirsty maniacs.

Awesome! I was buyi this kickass looking game regardless, but this made it that little bit more cooler. Also, 360 will more then likely get the Ninja Gaiden guy or something. I highly doubt ( and personally think it's lame) if they include a futuristic space character. The character will be somewhat similar to Kratos. If we were to get Nathan Hale or Solid Snake then maybe it would fit with Marcus or Master Cheif. Or maybe I'm just overthinking something as simple as an extra character.

    But regardless WOOYEAH KRATOS!

I dunno, they included Vader, Yoda and Starkiller in Soul Calibur so I wouldn't put it passed them to throw in someone like that here. I agree Ryu's the more sensical way to go since being a ninja in a gore-y game with magic powers makes more sense than a marine but it'll be good advertisement for Gears 3, so I can see them going that way.

Eh . . . one of the few people in the gaming scene who have absolutely no interest in Kratos or MK at all. So, while interesting to see a cross-over character, definitely not inciting a "buy me" interest.
