Eleventh reason why MGS4 is PS3 exclusive

Now most of you know about the 10 reasons why Metal Gear Solid 4 is a PS3 exclusive, but Peter Dille has been so kind to provide everyone with yet another reason. He said that Sony has talked to Konami and their agreement is that it's a Playstation 3 exclusive and doesn't know what all this chatter of the Xbox 360 is all about.

Are you confident that Metal Gear Solid 4 is going to stay exclusive?

PD: Yeah.

Konami recently cast a little doubt on that.

PD: There was something that came out prior to (the Sony E3 keynote) announcement. Our folks have talked to the Konami folks, and until the announcement was out from our side, I think they were being a little bit cagey. But the agreement calls for exclusivity, the announcement's been made, and now people know the real story.

    Guys read Page six of that link, he says the ps3 will have 15 Blu-ray exclusives and 80 Download-able exclusives wow so they will have exclusives i had no doubt in my mind. More reasons to get ps3

    I really do hope this crushed more dreams than I expect. Rumors are rumors and nothing else beyond wishful thinking till *bleep*ing confirmed.

    Final Fantasy 7 and Halo 1, are examples of 'platform exclusives'; however they were published for other platforms such as ..PC. If it's profitable then the company doesn't care about exclusiveness after a period of time.

      Well, if it's an exclusive, it'll be good for the exclusive console. If the company has good relations with the company's console, in this case, Sony, then they'll keep it for the PS3 to make Sony happy. If they don't care, then they'll make it multi-platform.

          It wont be a multi platform game. The only way it will come out on the 360 is around 2 years later. But I highly doubt it will even make it to the console.

          (This is not fanboyism, it is just going by what they have said. Maybe not the 2 years thing.. but meh)

    It's funny how the more konami and Hideo say it's Exclusive, the more rumors come up.

    It's NEVER going to be on the xbox, well, atleast not the next 100 versions of the xbox.
