It is confirmed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is not an MMO after Darren from vegrevolution.com contacted the PR for Bethesda.

"It is not an MMO. We have an MMO studio, ZeniMax Online, but they have not announced what they are working on. Just rumors and speculation."

    I'm happy it's not an MMO, but I hope it has some sort of online playability.

    This game has some serious potential. I hope it lives up to my expectations, and, as long as it's even better than Oblivion, it will.

      I'm hoping we can play Arena matches against our friends online to prove that we are better than the think. Think of all the competitive abilities the game will have with arena battles.
