Herman Hulst, Guerilla’s Game Leader, confirmed in a recent interview with 1up.com that they have been able to run Killzone 2 on 50% processing power of Killzone 3's game engine.

“Just to give you an example on the graphics side: we pulled a level from Killzone 2 into the Killzone 3 engine and it ran at 50 per cent. That’s how much power we’ve been able to find."

Number, numbers, they're just numbers! What matters is the game.

As much as I love Killzone and going to get Killzone 3, this stuff is pointless, nothing but hype and random number games to make it look more impressive. Stuff like this worked early this generation, but not anymore. Exclusives these days should be utilizing no less than "95% of the system's power" anyway.

Agreed. When the PS3 was first coming out it might have had some actual basis. But just about every exclusive developer takes it into their heads to throw out percentages to show how powerful their game is.

Good maybe they'll put that extra 50% into making it not control like you're suit is a few sizes too small.
