Following Microsoft's recent admission that faults inherent to the Xbox 360 will likely cost the company in excess of $1 billion USD, the American software behemoth has now held its corporate hands up and admitted that mistakes meant the European market didn't exactly prosper during the time of the original Xbox.
Japan wasnt the only region to give the first Xbox a tepid reaction - parts of Europe were similarly hesitant over Microsofts opening attempt at a home console. This week, Xbox Europe boss Chris Lewis has admitted that the company made errors with the Xbox, primarily by paying too much attention to serious gamers, and not enough to broadening the market beyond the hardcore fans.

Only 5 games or so intereted me for that console, and surely that wasn't enough for me to get it. I hated it's design, too.
I never remotely considered it. I'd already bought the PS2 and was enjoying it so much, I never thought about another console.
I'd say I was a hardcore gamer too. lol
