While PS3 and Xbox 360 fanboys maul one another with rampant regularity, stats provided by habit-trackers Nielsen Co. is today offering that the greying PlayStation 2 is still the number one console choice for the majority of videogames players.
According to new "GamePlay Metrics" stats published today by habit-trackers Nielsen Co. Sonys long-standing PlayStation 2 accounted for a massive 42 percent of all console usage tracked during the month of June. Microsofts original Xbox came in second with 17 percent, which is perhaps odd considering its recent lack of software support. The Xbox 360, GameCube, and Wii slotted into third, fourth and fifth.

Does make some sense though. PS2 has a massive library of games and is significantly cheaper at the moment.
And of course its still number one cause sony products are the best.
The PS2 is indeed a good console. I plan to play it for a while until the PS3's price drops. Maybe sometime in 2008.
Oh, and kill xsynergyx again.
