Ahh, yes. Any mainstream fan of DDR wants to get the new games every year probably for those familiar songs you've heard on the radio and whatnot.
('Course, a real Bemani fan doesn't really care. :P)
This year's San Diego Comic-con convention has new playable builds that are VASTLY updated from their E3 counterparts.
One INCREDIBLY surprising inclusion is a song called Angelus, which is apparently one of the opening theme songs for the Inuyasha animé series.
As an avid player, I must say that not only does it beat out last year's inclusion of Battle Without Honor or Humanity in SuperNOVA, but this breaks ALL tradition. This song is incredibly inappropriate in terms of songlist inclusions. How and why this song managed to get into the AMERICAN game is beyond me (barring stuff like Hot Limit).
...then again, we had Fallout Boy last year. And a cover of Linkin Park is in the arcade version of SuperNOVA 2. Go figure.
One more note: All the songs in Hottest Party are covers. All of them. Deal with it. It can be as good or better than the original.

I can't say I'm all that impressed with the Hottest Party soundtrack. Mostly because I dont know any of those songs. What console is SuperNOVA 2 coming to?
