Following their enourmous success with the Wii and the DS sales this year, Nintendo have raised their forecast for the end of the year after realising that their consoles have surpassed the initial saes expectations they predicted.
Currently the new predictions for the Wii and the DS are 16 million and 26 million units to be sold by the end of this year. This is up form previous predictions of 14 and 22 million.
Have you noticed how Nintendo has been pwning in the NPD charts for the last six months with both Wii and DS? How about the way they continued that trend in June, too? Yeah, well, big surprise that's doing well for their bottom line. Today, the company released their first-quarter results for the 2007 fiscal year, along with updated, heightened forecasts for total sales by year end
