It seems many developers are hopping on the HD Remake train, and Ubisoft is liking it. First releasing the Prince of Persia trilogy just recently, and now announcing the Splinter Cell trilogy. This is good news for fans of the original to play these games on an HD screen.

Following the recent release of the Prince Of Persia trilogy, Ubisoft has confirmed that the Splinter Cell Trilogy is happening, but no mention of an Xbox 360 release, despite the origins of the series.

Never got into Splinter Cell. Was thinking about it. Might get this.

I hope a lot of debs are looking into this cu I'd love a DMC/MGS/Jak/ZOE/GTA/FF collection. The fact that they might happen has kept me from starting FFXII over again.

That's pretty cool. They were really good, but after a new one came out, it was always so much better in terms of gameplay and gadgets, it was nearly impossible to play the older ones. So if they fix all that along with some HD, this could be pretty awesome.

Trying out Sly Cooper Collection right now actually too. This is a good trend, remake great games. It's cheaper too, so hopefully it'll motivate some risk taking later.

Another thing that could happen is, sequels that should be made. *cough*shenmue*cough*
