In a world where bigger is no longer better, KJ Global offers up the SlimG4 mouse for space-conscious laptop users. Indeed, if small is chic, then this little thing is the Paris Hilton of the peripheral world - but without the jail time and inability to drive while drunk. Check it out.

Those finger-driven mouse pads on laptops are rubbish, aren't they? They might look snazzy and save a bit of space, but for tasks that demand a lot of cursor miles, they are undeniably sluggish and only aid in slowing the whole process down. If you've put off buying a portable mouse because even they seem too big, perhaps KJ Global's SlimG4 mouse might be a little more up your street.

Uhm... small mouses are awesome and such, but being as compact as possible seems rather... dull. I've used pads before, you don't necessarily need speed unless you're a gamer.

It looks awefully delicate with its fold-out functionality... looks as if you put a little pressure on it the poor thing would snap right in half.

I agree, it does look like it would break pretty easily. I can't see this being a hugely sold product or be found very useful, except for people mentioned in the article who will find them better.

Wow that mouse looks skinny. I wouldn't buy that thing for two reasons: One drop would break it and it wouldn't serve me in any way except making my mouse move faster. If I was a Runescape fan then I would consider it, but it pretty much looks like a mouse for gamers.

Lol, it sure is thin, I would never buy that kind of mouse, even if it is cheaper than regular ones

I actually find it very easy to use the mouse-pad on my laptop. It's something which is slow at first but the more you use it the faster you get and the easier you find it to use. I'm perfectly happy with my laptop mouse-pad, so they can shove their fancy mouse.
