Ubisoft has just announced that in partnership with ABC Studios, it'll be behind a videogame based on Lost, the show featuring a group of plane crash survivors on a desert island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and cause of much of the following type of talk: "I'm on Season 3, Episode 14, can't believe you still haven't got past the first Season yet!" Give us a chance!

Players will fall into the sandy shoes of a survivor from the infamous Oceanic Flight 815 to confront their dark past, seek redemption and eventually find their way home. Ubisoft promises a host of familiar locations and adversaries including the Smoke Monster, interspersed with the need for keen puzzle solving skills and survival know how.

Lost isn't that fantastic, imo. Invasion was much better. But the game sounds interesting. Hope Ubisoft can hit a home run.

Here's hoping Ubisoft is able to break the truly horrid run of moive and TV tie-in with Lost, Beowulf... and eventually Avatar.

It could very well be a good game. I'm glad there's been an announcement actually, I'd read this game had gone into development hell.

I love Lost, but I doubt even Ubisoft could pull off a good game of it. I mean, will it be free roaming or what?

Chances are I'll check it out anyway.

Yeah, that's the thing with a videogame about a show like Lost... all of its gaming fans will feel exactly that temptation Incidnia. That "I'll check it out anyway" draw. I know I will.
