The Top Ten Most Anticipated Video Games of 2011

With 2010 drawing to a close, it's time to look forward to the next year. Here are the ten most exciting video games of 2011! It's looking like it's going to be a very, very good year for games.

They span a variety of genres -- role-playing games, puzzlers, third-person shooters, and platformers -- and include original titles as well as sequels.

    Never heard of Last Guardian either.

    Tbh, I'm looking forward to only two of the games. I was never a fan of Gears of War, never played Elder Scrolls and never played Diablo unfortunately. Also not a fan of Mass Effect.

    Only looking forward to Portal 2 and Legend of Zelda from that list atm.

    Looks like The Last Guardian will finally force me to buy my own PS3. And Uncharted 3.

    I'm most excited for Mass Effect 3, Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Gears of War 3. L.A. Noire and The Elder Scrolls V are also must-buys for me. Actually, I just might end up buying 8 out of the 10 on this list!

    Pretty decent list, although there is no way in hell LG is coming out next year, so replace it with Arkham City and you've got a pretty good list.

    9. Catherine (if localized, if not The Witcher 2)
    8. Bulletstorm
    7. LittleBigPlanet
    6. Gears of War 3
    5. Batman Arkham City
    4. Skyward Sword
    3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution
    2. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
    1. Portal *bleep*ing 2

    EDIT: Not a fan of Mass Effect, and Uncharted is probably the most overated franchise this gen, sorry.

      No, just because you dont like Uncharted, does not mean it is overrated. Uncharted has earned all the respect it has gotten. Not a bad list, though I am surprised Last Guardian got the top spot, considering it caters to a smaller audience (non-FPS fanboys).

        You now realize that ratings are a matter of opinion, thus whether something is overrated is also purely a matter of opinion.

        Ergo, don't tell him what his opinion is.

      To me a game is really only overrated when the game is pretty much classed as the 2nd coming of Christ *cough* Halo *cough*
