A brilliant mind by the name of F00 f00 on Acidmods, has modded a PSP to give it a rumble feature. That's right, the PSP with rumble. Check out the video for yourself. If you have this kind of PSP, you'd have to be careful not to drop it when it rumbles!

In basic terms what is happening here is the volt amp is sending voltage fed by the speaker to the pic, when it hits a certain pitch the pic turns on the motor.

I know this will all fit inside a psp because I installed 3 similar sized chips in a psp last week, so it shouldn't be an issue.

    It isn't just you.

It doesn't look like rumble, and quite frankly, I don't know how anything got modified. I hope the author of the article can explain what it really does...

It's probably more of a feel sort of thing rather than it jumping around. I don't think it's a strong rumble.

I'm assuming it vibrates a bit, but just so it's barely noticeable. The thing with the PSP is, there's nearly no spare room in it's case. Almost every millimeter of it is used by something.

Rumbeling screen, there is that small motor to look at below that. I would like to see it actually in the console and then him playing with it. It might be looking better of an idea then =].
