Hasbro has brought Transformers to a higher level, created a toy Transformer that can transform into a Playstation controller. Part of the Real Gear Robots line, it is set to release next month. Along with this, there are some toys that transform including watches and digital cameras.

Full realizing that Hasbro's Transformers has almost nothing to do with video gaming outside of a handful of games of varying quality, I ventured into the Hasbro booth at Comic Con 07 for purely personal reason. I was pleasantly surprised to see this particular Autobot, who I think is named High Score 100, oddly enough, with obvious nods to the PlayStation's DualShock controller. No? Would you believe a Made Catz controller?

Part of the Real Gear Robots line, it's due to hit stores next month. The rest of the line transformers into things like watches, digital cameras, and other consumer electronics mainstays- even one that look like a Bluetooth headset. I'll assume that one is a Decepticon. And a total dick.

    Not a working game controller.

It's an autobot according to the Hasbro site, and it's only $7 bucks.

Ah that sucks...would have been sweet if we could actually use it. Way to fool us, Hasbro I would have 'transformed' it when not using it, make it look like a toy. I hope they actually consider a real controller.

That'd be sweet, but way too hard to get it working as a toy and a controller.

Why would they make something dumb like that anyway?

I remember seeing this in the previous news article made, it is just stupid and not amazing I think. Why bother making a robot to controller that doesnt even work.
