Heroes get its own video game

That's right, the hit TV series Heroes is going to be made into a video game, confirms Ubisoft and NBC Universal. Christian Salomon, vice president at Ubisoft, said that with a "gripping storyline and rich characters" it is sure to be a big hit, naturally looking like a video game. He also said it should appeal to both fans of the series, but gamers as well. No word on what platforms it will be released on however.

You read that right folks. Ubisoft and NBC Universal have announced that they will be working together to develop and publish a video game based on the hit television show.

Said Christian Salomon, vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft, about the arrangement,

With a gripping storyline and rich characters, 'Heroes' lends itself naturally to a video game format. By offering people the chance to interact directly with the show's captivating universe, there is no doubt that the game will appeal to both fans of the series and avid gamers.

There's no word yet on what platforms the game will be headed to, but there's a good chance that such a game will be multi-platform and definitely worth checking out.

^{Well I've just started watching the TV series over here in the UK, but I have to say, this game isn't going to give the TV show any justice.
You just can't possibly make a video game about this show ... It really will suck :notamaused:}

This will probably end up like the Harry Potter games: Having the potential to be brilliant, yet falling flat on it's face due to sub-par controls, story, and gameplay.

Lol, it most probably will be doing that GG. This is just like the ideas that have been in the past but something along this line in the past has failed so this will have to do a lot to prove that it wont.
