Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Since the UFO glitch in Cod4 hackers/cheaters have got away with whatever they want on the PS3. With the recent PS3 update of 3.56 it seems Sony have granted power to Activision/Treyarch to ban anyone thats using Hacks online.
Previously the possibility of PSN bans was rumored for PlayStation 3 hackers, and today Ripten.com (linked above) has confirmed that CoD: Black Ops PS3 hackers are now being hit with the PS3 Firmware 3.56 ban hammer.

I fear that people might end up getting banned just for being reported for hacking, even if they did nothing wrong. If that's the case, I'm going to be seriously pissed if it happens to me.
People report others for no reason all the time. I couldn't hack a calculator, much less a PS3, but I've had people accuse me of cheating and, supposedly, report me just because I've had a good game or two in a row.
Hopefully, if anything, they'll only ban someone only if there are several reports against him/her.
EDIT:Actually, you know what? I just remembered I don't play Black Ops anymore because I got tired of trying to enjoy it, so I actually could care less.
However, the points I mentioned above are still a possible issue for those who do still play Black Ops.
If you head into the offical Black OP's forums there was a mod there earlier checking people that were claiming to be innocent.....not 1 person was.....
