I wouldn't mind a Dead Space Movie. Would require quite a budget though, the Necromorphs would need a lot of CGI and special effects.

Definetely. I'm sure the movie would be awesome but it needs to be done right. It would need a shit load of special effects and I'm sure, in order for it to be done right, would have quite the budget. Hopefully it would follow the game somewhat closely. I think it'd scare the hell out of people.

I think it'd be a great movie if done right. I mean, whenever I describe the game to anyone, I always say "think Alien mixed with The Thing". So essentially, if the movie were to be made, it'd already contain the traits to the two best alien/horror flicks out there, giving it a could jump.

God damn it, I love Dead Space 1 and I LOVED Dead Space 2, but I honest to god fear a film of it. It could be done right, but does anyone truly believe it will be? -.-

I hope they watch Event Horizon though, that film had Dead Space atmosphere all over it.

We already have one.. It's called Event Horizon.

Though to be serious I would like this to happen, but I agree with Bale Fire the budget would need to be huge. By the way Dark Dom I believe they already watched Event Horizon as it is far too big a coincidence for Dead Space to just happen upon being like that film.

Yeah, I know. I was more referring to the team of the Dead Space film. Hoping that they actually watch and study Event Horizon to get the atmosphere done correctly.

Pretty sure Visceral admitted that they took inspiration from it though. I mean, the plot was totally different, but it had the theme of a bunch of humans heading to a abandoned spaceship, where bad shit has happened, along with people going crazy and killing themselves/each other. xD

Amusingly, if you ignore the spelling, the ship is called "the Louis and Clark," and the actor who played the trauma doctor is called "Jason Isaacs." I realize that this is NOT where Isaac Clarke got his name, but amusing coincidence nonetheless. XD
