Nintendo releases yet another sports game, but this time in the form of the Mario franchise. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and many other Nintendo characters from different games make their returns to have a violent match in Mario Strikers Charged today.
Nintendo has let loose another sports-based title for its popular Wii gaming console, this time in the form of Mario Strikers Charged. This soccer-based title features Mario, Luigi, and other well-known Nintendo characters in a super-charged game which utilizes the unique capabilities of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. Plus, Mario Strikers Charged offers online gaming which lets players take on opponents from around the world.

Mario Strikers Charged introduces nine new stadiums along with a plethora of new characters, each of whom have their own special abilities and power moves. Players can create their own teams by mixing and matching captains and sidekicks, and then master Striker Challenges to unlock new elements and cheats. Players can also challenge other gamers online, with participants ranged using a positive-structured points system which resets to zero every week. And let's not forget the game's special hazards: earthquakes, firestorms, shockwaves, and other "otherworldly" perils.
