A group of hardcore Super Smash Bros. fans have united to work on Project M, a community mod that adds new levels, music and character attributes to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The game doesn't require gamers to mod their Wii in order to play as they can simply download the demo and instantly play it on their console without any modifications or hacking.

Project M is a community driven mod that is playable with Super Mario Bros. Brawl. With gameplay inspired by Super Smash Bros. Melee, Project M aims to offer gamers with an experience that’s in tuned to the Super Smash Bros. experience they know but have new elements and additions that fans of the series will appreciate. Among changes made to characters such as Solid Snake, Project M also includes new levels like Saffron City and Hyrule Castle.
