Rock Band from Harmonix and EA just got a whole lot more attractive - though GamerSquad didn't need any more convincing. In short, gamers who are also fans of Nirvana will be thrilled to learn that Nevermind has been added to Rock Band's list of downloadable content. Awesome.

Around three weeks ago, MTV and Harmonix revealed plans to offer whole albums as part of the downloadable content for Rock Band, the forthcoming rock-‘em-up that will allow players to wield either a microphone, guitar, bass, or drums. "Who’s Next", The Who’s 1971 classic, was to kick things off, and today that was joined by "Nevermind", the 1991 Nirvana angst-fest that popularised the Seattle grunge movement, and sold 25 million copies worldwide in the process.

Unfortunately I have never heard of the band Nevermind, however I have faith that Harmonix will be able to provide songs that work well for the game, therefore this addition to the every growing future downloadable content list is good.
