The Music Industry has finally acknowledged something that the rest of us have known for quite some time. Video game music can be award worthy. Civ IV's main theme has won, as has the album from the composer who made it. Maybe we'll see video game music added as it's own category in the future?
Something amazing just happened. History was made. Music from a video game just won a Grammy. Christopher Tin's "Baba Yetu," the song that originally appeared as the opening song for Sid Meiers' PC hit Civilization IV, won "Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalists".
