Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

The recent rumors of a price drop the Xbox 360 have been "leaked" and confirmed by Circuit City's flyer. All models of the 360 have each gotten their own reasonable pricecut. The Premium took a $50 pricecut and is now $350. The Core took a $20 pricecut and is now $280. The Elite has also had a $30 pricecut and is now $450.
In the wake of the Wal-Mart flyer and the Toys R Us flyer, now comes the Circuit City flyer sent to Joystiq showing that beginning Aug. 12 the Xbox 360 premium will be $350, the Elite will be $450 and the Core will have a $20 break and be $280.
This still doesn't explain the fate of the Core once these units sell out, but the Xbox 360 price drop is looking more and more legit. Plus, if you purchase at Circuit City, it looks like you'll get Rockstar's Table Tennis for free. Don't forget to pick up your 3200 worth of MS points for $20 at Circuit City this week too.

Besides, none of this is confirmed. But an Elite at $429.99-$449.99 is sexy.
I mean, they could do better than that. Maybe life time warranty? If they did that, they wouldn't be making any money.
For your earlier comment no PS3 afforded a price cut due to Low cost of materials and manufacturing. XBox price cut was due to lack of sales and problems.
Also, what's wrong with these price drops? Sony had some trouble, they had a price drop within less than a year of release of $100. Xbox 360 started having a similar problem including hardware flaws and a year and a half after release they have minor price cuts of $20-$50. That's business. No "excuses."
People who are against a system just seem to get superhappy, laugh like crazy, and cream themselves when a certain console has a problem. A flaw (whether it'd be hardware or just how the console is) is nothing to stroke your e-penis about. =/
