No 360 price cut for UK

It's widely expected that Microsoft is to officially cut the price of Xbox 360 over in the US shortly, but it's a move that won't be emulated in the UK. Much like the price drop of the PS3 in America, this also wouldn't be hitting our shores any time soon ...

We're very happy with the price we're at, and have no plans to make any changes at this time," a company spokesperson said in a statement.

    Don't think Microsoft will cut thew price unelss sony do first, it's really annoying because we already pay a lot more for the consoles over here in "rip off Britain".

      Yeah we sure do get it bad in Britain, it isn't fair. I mean I would understand it if the original prices in America were more expensive when compared to what we originally pay in UK, but that's not the case, America get everything better.

    There is the Import option available for the UK now.Import the Elite from the US and save more money!

    But, I think think this is dumb. If they really wanted to make an affect, why didn't they just do it for the UK also?

    Hmm i wonder if there Phasing out a Xbox console like sony did. But this is the worst move ever, come MS its really the UK and those areas which are hampening your sales need i say Japan.

    Microsoft hate Britain. First they had Vista over priced here and now not removing the premium on the 360. That is just annoying...

    Just like Sony do, well not as much. They offer us some value pack at least to make us even more tempted to buy the console... Though this is as expected for me to happen, though I thought they might reduce as it might help with Halo.

      My guess its only a temporary price cut as well. Sony may have a permanent one due to them hitting 6 million world wide.

    I certainly think Sony should reduce their price, everybody I know would like a PS3 but the price they believe is outrageous.
