Despite the slow start and lack of interest in PlayStation Home, it is upgrading to 1.5 this spring. Hopefully, attracting more playstation player’s with its new features.

When Sony launched PlayStation Home in 2008, players hoped that the supposed console version of Second Life would rock console gaming. Will the update make the service more streamlined eliminating many of the load screens. People would be more inclined to use it if it was more like a real MMO where loading screens are few and far between. It doesn't matter how good they make the service when people have to wait a minute between every area even longer if they have never been there before it gets a bit much.

Well, the Load times have become much better. As for streamlining the areas, THAT would definitely be something many would love to see, including myself.

But it wouldn't help much. I've been telling this to the Home Team since almost the beginning, that they need to watch the direction they are going with this service, and keep to what Phil saw in the beginning. Move away from this "Pay to Play" junk.

Also . . . Where's the source of this article? I mean the proof that what this article says is true. I've been away from the Home Team for a while now (busy real life) so they could have said it somewhere along the line, but . . . I don't think I'm too too ready to believe it just yet.
