Activision is now running damage control after a lot of gamers jumped on Activision and Infinity Ward for admitting that Modern Warfare 3 won't be using a new game engine, but they still standby the fact that they won't be using a new engine.

Robert Bowling mentioned that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 wouldn’t be running on a new engine. Well, CVG landed an interview with Bowling because Kotick probably wanted him to clear the air and make it known to the gaming universe that Bowling didn’t really mean what he tweeted.

They haven't got the time. Do CoD fanboys seriously think that a developer that has been as good as defunct for a year now has the time 6 months before release to craft a new engine? They barely have enough time to do that when they have 18 months.

Modern Warfare 3 will feature no innovation.

I'm Captain Obvious and this has been the No-Shit O'clock news.

End up with Black Ops 2.0 in a game called Modern Warfare 3
Implying that Black Ops is a new CoD game? They've been pretty much the same the original Modern Warfare.

Yet each one of them is received with the same critical success as the first. Despite the utter stagnation of the franchise, each game sees massive success despite its cookie-cutter nature.

Which is goddam pathetic, in my opinion.

LMAO, wow, i thought they were using a new Unreal engine for MW3, that is really sad.

if MW3 still manages to beat Battlefield 3 in sales once they come out and go head to head, i will have lost all hope for humanity.
