Big videogame publisher Ubisoft appears to be testing the waters on film adaptations on a couple of their biggest game franchises. A seemingly innocent looking survey, sent out to fans and gamers may point to the directions they plan on taking, and could be the best possible way ever, to approach an adaptation.

    Interesting. Sounds like they're really looking to produce a good movie adaptation of a game. I've yet to see one as it is.

    i thought Prince of Persia was pretty good despite the liberties they took. thats gotta be the best one so far anyway.

    though id love to see Assassin's Creed if it was done well. they wouldnt even have to make it a movie version of the games, it could be a stand alone story that ties into the story in the games.

      Mortal Kombat was much better. Prince of Persia wasn't a Prince of Persia film, it was just some action film which borrowed the name and had a slightly similar idea to it. To say that film is a video-game movie is to say the new PoP is a sequel to the SoT trilogy; technically it's true but they've got *bleep* all to do with each other aside from the name.

        probably true but at least as just an action film, you cant say it wasnt pretty good. i would not say MK was "much better". might have been a tad bit but much better is an overstatement.
