Resident Evil:Raccoon City - Kill Leon in this new 4 player co-op game

Just announced in the new OXM, Resident Evil: Raccoon City, long rumored is now officially confirmed and the rumors where right. Slant 6, developer of Socom is behind this 4 player co-op. We play as the USS team and your job is to eliminate everything and anything in the city...this includes survivors. Not only that but we can also "change RE history" and meet, even kill iconic characters such as Jill or Leon. Not much else is known other than it will release this year in celebration of RE's 15th anniversary.

Hitting this Winter, gamers will be able to get their hands on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Our friends over at the Official Xbox Magazine have the official cover story this month, and while we'll list a few details, you'll have to pick up their May issue to find out everything!

    I might like this as it isn't actually parading as a horror game. Games such as Resident Evil 4 and 5 were annoying because they advertised themselves as horror games when they weren't scary. At least from what I get from the write up this is a generic run and gun killing everything you see.. I'm down for that

    This should be interesting, seeing the RE universe from a different story perspective and also, who said you HAVE to kill the survivors? It may be your job to, but that doesn't mean you have to.
