Evidentally not content with its already outstanding and original control mechanics, the Nintendo DS is to be graced with a retro arcade addition 'knob' controller for its upcoming Arkanoid DS title.

The classic Breakout clone has appeared on a hundred-and-one different formats over the years without too radical a change in how it is played, but the new Nintendo DS version really looks to take the biscuit. Moreover, 1UP reports that the game's developers have created a rotating knob attachment that slots into the DS' Game Boy Advance port - thus replicating the title's original Arcade controls.
