Microsoft Testing New Disc Format For 360?

Microsoft has released invitations to a beta testing for a new disc system that they are trying out for the Xbox 360. Could it Blu Ray? Some sort of enhanced DVD drive?

    Blu Ray? Don't be stupid, that'd mean all 360 owners would have to go and buy it to actually play more games which in turn would basically kill the 360.

    It's going to be an updated DVD9.
