Krunal | August 03, 2007 | News | Playstation 3 Misc Gaming Tech/Hardware
Welcome to Blu-ray City. Population 54,308,945,521. Whilst we don't know what the numbers represet, we can tell you that Blu-ray city is the place to go if you want to learn a bit more about the Blu-ray and see what content will be upcoming to the Blu-ray in the future with Sony's new MMG Venue (Music, Movies and Games).

Giving you details on the latest content released on the Blu-ray format, the site features full-length music videos of Blu-ray disc artists who you will have seen or heard of such as Bruce Springsteen, Destiny's Child and Incubus. Also available on the site are HD trailers for the PS3, Motorstorm, Lair and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, with more to come soon.

It's easy to see that Sony are doing all that they can to promote the blu-ray format as much as they can, so be sure to check out the website for yourself

Going the extra mile to promote Blu-ray, eh? That's just like Sony. Cool site though.

On my PS3...can't see the fancy stuff (I see the text version)

Maybe the 'population' has something to do with bytes? Might it not mean the actual number of bytes in a 50GB blu-ray disk? Just guessing here....

Cool stuff. I think more space will make more impressive and broaden the minds of games.

Nice website. Worth checking out some of the features, though they could have made it all a little lighter.

The website is lush - I love the appearence.
A nice site is more likely to attract people and captivate their attention while browsing, so it is a good tool in Sony's arsenal.
